| A contemporary drama in 5 steps |
| This
is a set of 5 photos & captions that I received as a Word file
attached to an e-mail forwarded by a friend, with the request to pass it
to others. Instead
of forwarding, I opted for converting the file into a web site that
could be seen by everybody without Microsoft Word for PC.
It is a short photo essay of an arrest somewhere in Israel or Palestine; the place and date or the photographer's data are not specified in the message, neither the true ending of the story -you can only guess. Certainly it is just a small sample of a much broader turmoil, but in its scale it exemplifies the current degree of tension and cruelty in the "Holy/Promised Land", whose inhabitants are in the bloody process of mutually becoming blind, "eye by eye"... The photos and captions are shown here exactly as in the original .doc file, which by the way is written in Turkish language settings by someone called "Y.A". 7 April 2002 |

1- First they arrest Moh'd Saleh, a Plastinian aged 23. So far nothing is wrong with the picture!! |

2- Then they pin Moh'd on the floor suspecting he had bombs attached to him. Still nothing out of the ordinary? |

3- They have him on the floor still, and they try to question a second Plastinian on the scence. They seem to have definitly overpowerd him and have full control over the suitation |

4- That's not enough? OK!! Now they have to strip him to make sure he doesn't really have any bombs on him. AS we can see he is almost naked on the floor, (at least they had the decency to keep his underwear on), he is obviously overpowerd and unarmed, there is no sign of a bomb or any resistant. So what would a democratic country such as Isreal, a county which claims to respect human digintiy and life do??? Take him to prison |

The least you can while sitting in the comfort of your home is forward this file to as many people as possible espically westerns so they can have a glimse of what Plastinians go through!!
